This course is an in-depth look at chronic inflammation and will equip you with the knowledge to talk confidently to your clients about this subtle yet dangerous physiological process. In addition, the course will give you simple tools to help your clients unravel the causes of their chronic inflammation as well as explore possible solutions.
In this course we will cover the basic physiology of chronic inflammation and you will learn how to detect what your client is doing in their day-to-day life that is either causing or fuelling their inflammation. You will take a look at topics such as ‘leaky gut’, dysbiosis, leptin-resistance and food intolerances. Most importantly, you will discover how to talk to your clients about chronic inflammation and help them help themselves through small changes in their diet and lifestyle.
This course assumes you already have a knowledge of basic anatomy and physiology and are working in the health industry or studying towards a qualification. It is not for absolute beginners, but is, instead aimed at complementary health therapists, beauty therapists, yoga instructors and health coaches wishing to extend their knowledge.
