The Nail

The nail is an appendage to the skin and it provides protection to the last bone of the fingers of primates – that’s humans and apes. The nail is a helpful thing to have for scratching and tasks like opening nuts. It may not seem important but in the early days of the human race these were essential daily events.  Nails are now an essential accessory and we love to show them off by choosing a nail tech to decorate them or extend them, or somehow incorporate them into our own style.
